Much has been written about "Julie and Julia," just about everywhere. Gourmet's take, or at least that of one of their contributors, is that the Julia part is delightful but Julie's head is so far up her own @$$ that her scenes are painful to watch.
Which made me wonder. There is something about blogging that does that to you: in a way, even if your blog is about something or someone else, it's really prone to encourage self-absorption. That's why I count on you-- all five of you--to keep me honest. Or at least ensure that the fruit of my self-absorption remains entertaining.
