Japan Finally Got Inflation. Nobody Is Happy About It.

I've retired the mom blog (mom's historic warm, fuzzy affirmations are still available in the archives (posts labeled 'mom blog' and, for the best of those, 'classic')). I enjoyed the years of fat talk and running commentary on my hair and personality as much as you did, but mom moved on and so must the blog.

Okay, I have been to Arlington once -- yes to visit a fellow Smithie. Leave me alone -- and I have to say that was so dead on that I don't even know what to do. Funnily enough, I had never been to a Whole Foods before that (it was 2001) and I can still remember her introducing me to the pre-prepared meals, which I ate for lunch while she was at work the next day. Remember back in our early 20s when no one ever took off of work when you came to visit them? My BFF visited me a couple of months ago and I felt super-guilty for working from home for a few hours every day. Also, my sister took off of work the last time I visited her in our hometown. Growing up is interesting.
