Thanks for posting the pork industry information...terrible and nasty for sure. I was shocked. It's a fine balance in this house as we were told if the allergy kid will eat sausage & bacon as some of his few foods to let him eat sausage & bacon. Good thing is that there are local farmers we can get this products from. But oh how nasty that Hormel story was. I was noting to husband about the shelf stable pepperoni and how that just doesn't seem right...now even more reason to continue avoiding that crap.
