Roommate got back an hour or so ago. He was (is) in a good mood, didn't bring up the post-its. I think he probably understood that it wasn't about him.
On the other hand, he said he was staying until mid-December. Didn't ask. Said.
And he has a point: in his lease, he can.
And I could really use the money. That would pretty much cover my outdoor projects, which are much-needed. And then, no roommate after that (he found out the exact date of his transfer).
We'll see how it goes.
