Friday evening roundup

A Post sportswriter elaborates on what I said yesterday about Dan Snyder.

Slate says the cupcake trend is but a bubble. True or not, I'm glad someone pointed out that $4 for a cupcake is quite a lot. Also on Slate, the sneaky anti-health-care-reform tactics.

This guy makes some interesting points about the Whole Foods boycott, but I agree with Mr. Philpott: I can't be asked. Trader Joe's' tofu is organic, but they're constantly out of extra firm, and even when they do have it, it's not the same.

Another book, which is not "Cheap", but sounds like it. This one--"In Cheap We Trust"-- talks about our discomfort around money issues in general. The Post says it's good. The review is certainly interesting.
