Part of the problem with Verizon's response to the 911 outage was that they "treated it like a service complaint" rather than an emergency. Yes, yes, emergencies are a higher priority, but what does that statement say about Verizon's service ethic?

What? Metro deliberately won't "encourage" people to stand right/walk left on the escalators? How is it a safety issue to let people know to stand on one side?
