Monday evening roundup

Did the NCAA fall short by letting the games go on?

F*ing pancreatic cancer took Sally Ride.

Art-from-trash is awesome.

I've never been a fan of Chick-Fil-A (see this intellectual property BS), so it's vindicating to see their own hatred cost them business. Maybe the youngest Palin can help them make up for the business. That poor kid will probably be horrified when he grows up.

Do you think anyone will even want to play football for them? I wouldn't. I also wonder what the financial breaking point for the university is and the overall impact of the fines and future payouts to victims on the school's operating budget, is there a point at which you can put a public university out of business? I was glad to see such a harsh penalty, never thought about what you posted though, hmm..maybe they did fall short.

I baked with real milk tonight. Kiddo gets to eat cake with milk at the allergist tomorrow. Husband and I discussed the idea that we may have to add dairy to the kiddos diet to keep him not allergic and that it's not like we miss having it (other than the few cheeses we have in the house) for a variety of reasons.
