Thursday morning roundup

China's successful professionals are leaving in droves "...to live in a more transparent and democratic society."

France's socialists are fighting amongst themselves.

The late Letitia Baldridge would not have us clink our glasses.

Twitter is a medium like any other. Users can use it for good or evil, i.e., truth or misinformation. It's up to the community and people's common sense (what a dangerous thing to rely on!) to filter through the crap. But you can't assign the medium itself a policing or censorship or fact-checking role.

New Yorkers will be New Yorkers.

This is pretty cool throughout, but if you're in a hurry it gets real around 2:30.

I practically inhale chipotles, but these super-hot peppers are scary.
