Compelling take on Afghanistan, some excellent points, but I'm not entirely convinced.

See but his argument would be that much more convincing were that sentence--the first of the last paragraph--any less horrendous. Which is not to say that I disagree (and I didn't deliberately use a double-negative to make my point).
