I did not fall off the ladder, but I did fail to replace the ceiling vent. Several times. There were tears.
I've also failed to unscrew the rusted bolts on my toilet seat, which I need to replace (the seat itself has fallen off; the lid remains bolted, rustily, to the bowl).
I haven't started recaulking. I think I'll call it a home-improvement day.

sounds like a frustrating day. husband says try wd40 on the bolts on the toilet or cutting the bolt.
did i ever tell you about our leaking bathroom that was making the ceiling above the kitchen look wet. after cutting the ceiling open, confirming it was leaking, fixing leak with a patient friend and celebrating completing a job well done for the weekend, we filled the tub only to find another leak when the water level went above the overflow....that required a plumber, and the celebration ended.
