Danube Delta

On the way to the Danube Delta, we stopped outside Ploesti at Nina's coworker's lavender farm.

We pressed on, saw some neat churches, had a nice Turkish dinner, and took a ferry before arriving in Somova.

The next day, we took a fast boat around the Delta, where we saw lots of birds, and took a safari around Letea forest, where we saw wild horses.

The next day--my birthday--we went to Enisala fortress and relished the views.

The next day brought more birdwatching. The weather wasn't as nice as our first day on the boat, but we bundled up and made it work.
