It is not the end of women

You know, I was primed by the tweet that brought my attention to Gregor Smith's column on how feminism serves no one to be offended, but it's honestly so silly, poorly written, and absurd, that it's just not worth it. But in case anyone out there is wondering whether feminism is, among other things, pointless, consider these:

• the media/entertainment complex's blind eye to sexual violence when the perpetrators are deemed to be talented 
• some semblance of gender balance being dismissed as "too much estrogen" (and women generally being told to shut up)
• Plastic surgery apps featuring Barbie, for kids as young as nine (now pulled from the iTunes store, thanks to feminists, including outraged fathers)
