I've retired the mom blog (mom's historic warm, fuzzy affirmations are still available in the archives (posts labeled 'mom blog' and, for the best of those, 'classic')). I enjoyed the years of fat talk and running commentary on my hair and personality as much as you did, but mom moved on and so must the blog.
Funnily enough, I've met the chyck on the left (before I was pregnant). This was so funny and interesting that it actually inspired a big political post on my blog -- so thanks for the inspiration. And look for the post at this link tomorrow: http://fierceandnerdy.com/?p=7043

Preview: Though I think the song is hilarious, I'm not down with women-on-pregnant-women bashing and it brought up a lot of issues about something that I think is becoming a trend. So no, I don't agree that this song is complete "Truth."
