I've retired the mom blog (mom's historic warm, fuzzy affirmations are still available in the archives (posts labeled 'mom blog' and, for the best of those, 'classic')). I enjoyed the years of fat talk and running commentary on my hair and personality as much as you did, but mom moved on and so must the blog.

If only I lived near a river...
Thank you for the kind feedback on the photos I posted earlier.
Here's another picture of gargantuan me, this time standing by the river that I don't have four blocks from my house. I'll add more later.
wait, you mean to tell me that there's a river where you live? no way, I thought I was the only one who had that river nearby :)
