I've retired the mom blog (mom's historic warm, fuzzy affirmations are still available in the archives (posts labeled 'mom blog' and, for the best of those, 'classic')). I enjoyed the years of fat talk and running commentary on my hair and personality as much as you did, but mom moved on and so must the blog.

Who knew...
...when we sat out on the patio on Saturday night and turned on some after-dinner You-tube, that three nights later "Pregnant Women are Smug" would still be stuck on my blog and "Hamster on a Piano" would still be stuck in my head.
And a certain person (me!) thinks this is beyond hysterical, even though I should be thinking more about the poor hamster. . . -- Martha
